How do you do? My name is Ali (pen name: Periwinkle Twist)
This last year I’ve been dabbling in writing middle grade and it has completely swept me off my feet. As a mom of three young kids, I spend a lot of time reading books for children and watching kids movies. It took me a minute to realize that even when my kids aren’t around, I regularly turn to books and movies from my own childhood for entertainment and to put my heart at ease. From the Desk of Periwinkle Twist is strictly middle grade content as of February 2025. I have big hopes and dreams for my middle grade work and here is where you’ll hear about it first!
